First time in Matera! Spectacular!!! Wonderful!!! The afternoon of our arrival we listened to the advice given by the owner of our. B. & B. Old Annunziata. (B&B next to the Duomo ) He advised us to visit Matera through the Altieri Agency. We were really satisfied, we showed up at the agency at 5.45 pm ... at 6 pm we were ready to visit the Murgia Park and the rock churches with a more than extraordinary guide "Cosimo". Really complimented.
The next day we visited the stones of Matera always with the guide, very good, "Antonio". Truly excellent guides, very knowledgeable. We visited everything that could be seen .. despite the rain ... rock churches, the Sasso caveoso, a local handicraft shop (beautiful) and, at the end of the tour, we were offered a tasting of local products in the Agency. Exquisite products ... that you cannot fail to buy ... Complimetissimi really heartily to all the people who work there, even in the agency they are all very kind. I really recommend it and ... congratulations again! Paola
