What you NEED to know: My experience with Ken Rainey was optimal, his friendly disposition, and laid back approach made my experience at Motorcars a positive one and I would recommend him to any of my friends and family. I was extremely stressed about my previous car and how I was going to replace it. I couldn't be happier with my decision to lease a 2012 Civic.

The Long Story:

I was having trouble with my Volkswagen Beetle and was worried the news from the repair shop I took it to would mean I would need a new car rather than spend the money on a repair. I went to Motorcars Honda because it's local and I had heard good things about Ken Rainey previously. Because I was unsure about what I would hear from the shop, I really wasn't sure what I was looking for, or how much money I would be able to spend.

I met with Ken and I told him an amount I felt comfortable, he asked for clarification and I told him I really didn't want to spend more than $200/month on a car payment, since my last one had been close to $400 and I ultimately wasn't happy with the car I purchased. He mentioned a lease option (2012 Honda Civic) that would come in right around $200/month. I wasn't really sure I wanted to lease and Ken worked with me to show me some other cars that would fit what I was looking for. We test drove a used Honda Accord and a new Honda Civic.

Ken was extremely helpful in discussing all of my options and helping me to narrow down my choices. I didn't feel pressured at all and appreciated his laid back approach and friendly disposition. I went home with paperwork with lease and used car financing numbers.

When I heard from the shop the next day, I picked up my car, drove it to Motorcars to get appraised and asked Ken to run my numbers for real. It was easy to work with him and I didn't feel pressured to make a decision immediately. I really felt like he was looking out for me, and what would be best for me individually. When I made the choice to lease a 2012 Honda Civic EX, he made sure that everything would be ready the following day. I am extremely thankful for Ken and my experience at Motorcars, during a time of high stress and concern, I felt completely secure in the decision I made and Ken made it seem painless.
