Absolute worst loan experience of my entire life. The underwriter and account rep lacked common sense, and didn't seem to be able to use common sense with explanations of assets. I get that Covid may have made things more complicated, but asking for 6 verification of employment requests (including a phone call to our employer) in a 2 week period just shows that they don't have their stuff together, and tends to be an unnecessary burden on your employer. Each request was asking for the same exact information, which didn't change. If you ever hear the word Spring Eq - run, as far and as fast as you can. On the other hand, if you enjoy submitting the same information over and over again, having your account rep not get back to your loan officer, because they decided to take a vacation and not have any backup during that time period, and initially promising a 2 week to close time period, which turned in to almost 3 months then they are the choice for you.
