True 5 star service, every interaction with employees is greeted with a smile and a friendly face. The spa staff are experts in helping you relax.The masseuse I had, Laurie gave one of the best massages I've ever had! Jessica at the front desk is marvelous, and the restaurant manager Megan gave impeccable service for our honeymoon stay ! Make sure to order room service while you're here ! The food arrives quickly , hot, and exactly as you order it. Verdana has some of the best Italian cuisine this side of the Rocky mountains. I highly recommend the beef tartar, and the signature seafood pasta served in a jar, which was strange at first look, but as soon as you take the first bite you'll understand why it's their signature dish! The hotel gives you easy access to the casino and shops at Mandalay Bay, but also has a separate enterance if you want to avoid the loud casino. The rooms are modern, but still have a classic look about them with great views of the strip if you are on the side of the building that faces it.
