With more emphasis on science and factual learning...

With more emphasis on science and factual learning, and less on tricky word questions from a very outdated curriculum; this COULD be a cool place to learn about being an electrician. This place can be a huge turn off for people that are smart and want to learn about electricity because of the obvious right winged and capitalistic goals this school can press on you. From paying to make up a class that you've already paid for, to holding extravagant events on the dime of your contributors that have nothing to do with education. No student actually goes to or cares about the things like NASCAR night, they'd rather have relevant labs and class time for every period they're required to be there. Instead of consistently stroking the admins egos with these pointless events, they could invest all that money into an updated and science based curriculum and ensure lots of lab time for every year level by equally updating their lab, which is after all where the majority of students actually learn. In the four years I participated in this program I took part in maybe 5 lab activities. Not once was I able to complete any of the lab assignments due to lack of materials, equipment or in the worst case, instructor understanding of the project. As a final nail in the coffin, this place offers barely any real accreditation after four years of attendance, not even an associates degree. Pitiful blunder of resources.
