Having to redo my identity papers, I go to my meeting (taken as soon as possible, i.e. 1 month and a half later!) To be told that it is impossible to complete the process because the town hall of my place of birth does not dematerialize birth certificates and that the one in my possession is too old. Knowing that it must be less than 3 months old, after 1 and a half / 2 months to have a date, things get tight, especially when you were born outside of Paris ...

When I get home, I contact this service again to have information on this subject (in order to avoid having to waste time again next time). The lady I had on the phone was execrable, screaming and refusing to listen to me speak, almost refusing to give me the information I had come to seek! (I had to insist heavily).

We wonder what the notion of "public SERVICE" means ....
