I stayed at the Rio Suites in Vegas from 7/12 to 7/17. I was part of a wedding party, which meant we had very nice rooms. That didn't happen for me. The lines were so long for check in 2 hrs later I acquired a room key. When I stepped in the room it appeared that time was frozen in the 1960's. The sink was leaking all over the countertop and running, as well as making a loud annoying noise, omg. I was tired as heck. I jumped in the shower, well slid in the shower. The room was hot. I was too tired to complain about it. The next the maintenance guy who was nice change the filter. It appeared the filter had not been changed since the 1960's. He told us he couldn't fix the running water or the leaking sink. We were moved to another room. There's toilet was loud as heck, late night flush will give you a heart attack. The room was the same with the dirty filter from the ages. The bed linen was clean. The room was still hot although the dirty filter change. I call to advise the managerial staff of the issues I was having. She was not nice to top it off she put in the comments that I hung up on her. I would not recommend this hotel. I will not book another stay at this location. I read reviews prior to checking into places. I didn't have these luxury of doing that because a friend booked rooms for everyone. Their rooms were nice and modern. I was told they ran out of the nicer rooms, what a crock! I do not recommend this hotel.
