This is at least the 4th time I have rented a Mobility Scooter from Apple Scooter Store. They do deliver the scooter on time and it does work, sort of. BUT each time that I have rented a scooter I have progressively gotten a worse piece of equipment. I just returned a scooter that I had for about 16 days. The horn button was missing BUT the horn would go off for no reason and continue to blare until I could find a pen or something very small to poke into the hole to shut it up - very embarrassing! Also, the large nut the loosens the steering column was hard to get tight enough to keep it upright and impossible to get tight enough to not swing all around when lowered and trying to load into my car. The basket was dented up. Also, I would be driving along and it would hic-cup, stop, and start again. If we were travelling at a fair clip and my husband was right behind me he would come close to running into me. I will have to give a LOT of thought to renting from this company again as there must be a company that rents nicer equipment and not junk. I saw MUCH nicer 'rental equipment' being used in Disney and other areas and wrote down their names and numbers. Sorry Apple you have had many chances to treat a return customer better!
