We were excited to stay here because of the location and were willing to pay a little more. We booked a room with six other parties (a total of six rooms). We first noticed that the sink in the guest bath didn't drain very well. Next we staying in room 307 and we noticed a wet spot on the floor. I had thought my kids spilled water and didn't pay much attention until Saturday night I had my jeans on the floor on the side of the bed. I woke up in the morning and the jeans were soaked! They had a leak in the ceiling dripping down on the floor! I told the bell hop about it and he said "yea I think all the '07' rooms have a leak, it's just leaking all the way down from the top." What the heck? They knew there was a leak in the room and decided to rent it anyway? Nice! Then on Saturday (Sept 13th, 2020) we were sleeping and at about 11pm the fire alarm goes off. A loud blaring alarm with a speaker in our master bedroom starts blaring. What the heck!? I wake up trying to figure out why this alarm is going off. After about three minutes of adrenaline rush moving around the room trying to figure out where the alarm going off is coming from I go outside and realize the alarm is going off in every room in the hotel. There are people gathered in their PJ's on the balcony with bewildered looks on their faces trying to also figure out what's going on. The pool empties, people start evacuating the hotel and after over five minutes it finally stops. The next day after we leave I call the hotel and ask for a $100 credit for all this nonsense. The woman on the phone asks if I spoke to a manager before I left. I told her I told the bell hop all of it, but I needed to leave in the morning and didn't have time (I have two kids 2 and 6 and Sunday morning leaving is crazy). I told her that's why I'm calling now. She said the manager would call me, but he never did. I called the next day, they said the manager is off that day and call back tomorrow. I said forget it, I'll just write a review instead. This was our experience, it wouldn't of been too bad except the feeling of being disrespected and not listened to about our experience. Hotels are all about customer service! These guys unfortunately earned a one star review, not because of the pluming leak or alarm, but because of the poor customer service.
