This restaurant is nestled in a wooded area across a narrow, winding road from the man-made lake. They took our temperatures before seating us, which was appreciated in this era of COVID. We sat in the screened in outdoor area. It was a bit like sitting in a tree house, quite cozy and romantic. We noticed that the wobbly table we had, underneath the tablecloth, was a standard issue steel mesh patio table.

Wonderful cocktails (who thought basil muddled with strawberry would be delicious?). Decent craft beer selection from around the country, but wish the the list was longer than about 6-8. The wines by the glass list was quite limited; they clearly expect you to be sharing a bottle. Not in the cards for us, with a drive home ahead.

We both got New York strip steaks, which lately has also become standard for us when dining. Very little fat on/in either of our steaks, and good flavor. They were both cooked perfectly. A little bit on the small side, but the quality was definitely there.

We declined dessert as we were planning s more s later that evening.

All in all, a cozy, high end, high-quality restaurant in an idyllic setting. A little expensive for what you get, and a little small on the entree portions, but definitely worth the visit.
