READ before you send your device in for repairs/warranty.

If your device has any screen cracks, dents, external damage, they will NOT honour your warranty even if the RMA is unrelated to the external damage (battery issue, bootloops, camera, etc). They do NOT do "partial repairs" and will require you to pay for a "new" (refurbished) device. Also, BEWARE you will have to pay a $35 "analysis" fee if they deem your device out of warranty or they will keep your device. They will not tell you this beforehand.

My story:
Sent in my 6p for a battery issue (dies at 20%) and does denied warranty due to a small bend near the volume button (also a common issue caused by poor manufacturing, check jerryrigeverything on youtube).

They quoted me almost $700 to fix the frame which I, of course, denied since the device is fully functional. Huawei just said "we don't cover frame issues anymore" even thought the battery issue and the bending issue is one of the most discussed manufacturing defects online.

My argument is that I sent in the device for a BATTERY repair, not a FRAME repair. They didn't care, they said bent frame voids warranty.

I've had my CAR warrantied due to engine low compression and under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act, they can't void warranty due to unrelated damage/modification from the main issue. For example, if my windows are smashed and put an aftermarket exhaust on my car, they can't legally void my engine warranty UNLESS they can prove those things caused the issue in the first place.

I'm sure my battery dying at 20% is NOT caused by a slightly bent frame and is definitely a manufacturing defect.

Another thing, before you send in your device for RMA, NOWHERE did it say you would have to pay an analysis fee if the device is deemed out of warranty. I did not sign any document nor was any document/email sent to me stated there was an "analysis fee". VERY misleading and shady company.
