I have to echo another recent review...this was our go to hotel for last 10+ years. When we checked in on Christmas night we were informed that they are now charging $8 a night for parking...WHAT!?! If you are going to charge you should tell them about alternative options...thid is not downtown anywhere (the charge is in the disclosure when you book... I will read these from now on). Also the buffet has changed (except for their awesome chef), which is not the end of the world, when it's not busy... Which is going to be more frequent now. We were shocked at the small number of guests during a traditional busy baseball tournament week.
Apparently, these folks have gone elsewhere. Despite being happy with this hotel for many years (sits right in between our parents houses), we are sad to say this will likely be our last stay and we will no longer recommend it to friends. But, at the same time, your business must make money for it to makes sense.
