We loved our stay here and definitely understand the appeal. The activity pools (e.g. slides, rapids, water elevator) are amazing when they're open. The water features only operate from 10-5, but most pools themselves are open 7-10, with one pool staying open til midnight. At night, when the air temp was 75 or lower, the water was too cold to swim (but hot tubs were still open). Yoga in the morning is excellent, coming from someone who is picky with yoga classes. There are a few free bikes you can borrow also. And $125 for a day of childcare in the kids club is a steal. The hotel also has a phone number you can text with questions, and they'll make reservations for you at restaurants or the spa. (The spa takes Spafinder by the way.) So why 4 stars? While we loved the property, visiting as a couple we just didn't use enough amenities to make us feel like this place was worth the price tag. We had no complaints with the valet service or any service included in the resort fee, but we spent a lot of our vacation exploring the island, so we didn't have the time to take full advantage of what the resort had to offer.
