We should've taken a Staten Island ferry instead. The queue for the Liberty ferry is too long, slow and crowded. We went through "airport-style" security, which was really slow, we were in queue for security, for I think more than half an hour. The Statue of Liberty park itself was good, a lot of construction for the new museum so might be better to visit in the future. Or better yet, just ride a different ferry and view the Manhattan skyline from Brooklyn. Not worth it for the time and cost.
