Our first night wasn't what we expected. Aside from our room having this musty, moldy odor, our bathroom sink wasn't draining properly. Our pillows were lumpy and the mattresses were sagging in the middle. Thank goodness the duty manager, Ms. Lui Mazo, quickly got us transferred to a better room as soon as I made my concerns known to guest services. We slept so much better during our second night. I'll note not to book the garden wing rooms next time. They're badly in need of an upgrade. The staff was amazing and very attentive. This is what the Shangri-La experience is all about, personal touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.
