This museum is a lot smaller than we anticipated. However, the exhibit we saw was amazing, powerful & very extensive. It was a homage our many unappreciated, Queens of Egypt. I love learning history about ancient cultures, so seeing more about these powerful, melaninated Queens was a treat. They showed all the things that any black girl wanted to know that they don't teach in school. From hair to harems, from perfume to power, this exhibit was probably my favorite out of all of the museums.
The only thing I was disappointed with was that the exhibit was the only thing shown. The rest of the floors were just offices in the building. The exhibit also had to be shut down early because of a tornado warning.
