A huge property in Waskaduwa, between Bentota and Colombo. It has direct access to a very clean beach with very few people visiting the beach. The hotel advertises itself as a 5 star property but compared to other 5 star properties across the world, it needs to work on quite a few aspects. I would personally rate the location as 5 star but the hotel overall would be 4 star.

The dinner buffet option is great since there aren't a lot of options around to eat and the food is also pretty tasty so it's worth the price to take a half board option.

The room is very comfy although their double bed is actually two single beds joined together. Rooms are clean. All their rooms are sea facing which is a plus!

The staff is extremely courteous and helpful.

Overall, this is a good layover to rest if you are driving from Colombo to Bentota.
