I dropped my car off to the dealership to have work done that was covered under my warranty. I met with Luther. He called me a few hours later and asked me to come back the same day to be put in one of their loaner cars for a little over a week until the work was done. I got the call to pick my car up because it was ready. Luther pulls the car around for me and tells me I m good to go. To my surprise, the windshield had been damaged badly. I took pictures and asked him how this happened! He gets Jeff, his boss, who came out to look at it. He tells Luther it must have happened when their mechanic did the work and wasn t made aware when it was damaged. They ask me to come inside to schedule for a new windshield to be put in. They made me drive it home like that. It was so unsafe that I couldn t drive it to work until after the new windshield was installed. So it sat in my driveway and I decided to inspect my car very carefully the moment I got home from picking it up from the dealership. Not only did it have a damaged windshield, there were scratches throughout on the paint, chipped paint, deep scuff marks on the inside bottom trim, and horrible stains in my back seat. I called Luther back immediately after taking photos of what I had discovered. He asks me to meet with him and Jeff at the dealership over the weekend. I met Jeff today who heard my concern but continuously smirked at me, denying any responsibility for this. Then he goes to get his mechanic who worked on my vehicle and interrogated him in front of me. After questioning him, he let him go back to work and tells me he refuses to take responsibility for these damages. He offered to address the scratches on the paint only. He admitted that the scuff marks on the trim came from them standing on it to work on my vehicle but will not fix that issue. I did not get an explanation for these stains on my back seat. Even after advising him I had taken photos of my car before ever dropping it off with them, which is how I knew someone was lying to me. Still, he refuses to address it. He tells me I can speak to his GM on Monday and that we are just going to have to deal with this in Litigation. I advise I had already filed a police report and shared the photos with the Officer. He laughs at me and says OK, have a nice day. I m disturbed by this. Words cannot describe how this experience has left me feeling.
