We were passing through the area on our way to Florida from Michigan. I had been sick a few days with what I thought was the 'flu. I started to have trouble breathing and this was the nearest hospital. The ER was phenomenal! They did a pulse ox and it was 88% which is not good. The did a chest xray and found I had double pneumonia. Started a bag of levaquin in case it was bacterial, did PCR testing and found out very quickly I had metapneumovirus. Admitted me for a day and a half with oxygen and after my O2 levels increased, I found out that I had to be off oxygen for awhile in order to be released. After that was done, the checkout was quick! They were spot on with everything they did! I'm a retired clinical laboratory scientist who worked in microbiology and was very impressed by this hospital!
