Bottom line...avoid if you have an emergency!

Bottom line...avoid if you have an emergency!

1st experience, cellulitis in my foot...they waited until my fever was 104.8 before they stopped telling me to "stop breathing like that and sit up". The Dr. they finally assigned me, checked periodically, but was filling me w/ drugs that didn't work....he kept saying we'll see if we can avoid surgery. An outside Dr. came in and got me the right antibiotics and 9 days later released from the hospital with no follow up instructions other than one visit. Ah yes, this all happened AFTER I went in the same morning for the same thing and a Dr about 15 yrs old prescribed an antibiotic and sent me home.

Last night's experience...6 year old son 102.9 fever, can't stand for more than 5 seconds, and we literally watched people who where a lot better off walking in, and out with discharge papers. We were at one point the only ones in the er wait room and still watched people come and go. 2.75 hrs later we left and we're seen IMMEDIATELY elsewhere.
