I am beginning to dislike Marriott because my experience of Marriott in Egypt has not been pleasant. Rude and inconsiderate staff, heavily paid parking and overly expensive are just a few things to begin with.
I wanted to meet with the General Manager and it turned out he is bigger than the pharaohs themselves! The General Manager of a hotel - who should be omnipresent - requires an appointment at least a week in advance. He is made to be untouchable and it is about time that Marriott management and owners remind the General Manager that his job is to serve the guest and not to haunt them.
For shame!
