Barnes and Noble in Union Square is one of the few large book retailers left in the city, especially after Borders closed down. I love the variety in the store. I just hate that there is not much space to sit and they discourage sitting on the floor. I usually take my books and magazines upstairs to sit in the area where they have the book readings and signings. I noticed that there is not much of a price difference from buying books on the Barnes website vs in-store. So I just skip the shipping fees and head to Union Square.
