Went there with the family on the Good Friday..clearly they were under staffed, hardly see any staff around in the actual Zoo assisting visitors, other than the two entrances where they collect the money off you. Toilets are stinky and not cleaned regularly throughout one of the busiest day of the year. Most food stalls/market also started to close around 245pm but the Zoo closes at 5pm so how does that work? And they want to charge you close to $5 for a can of soft drink.. Some people would call this a rip off. The Zoo is still selling PLASTIC Water bottles? Where is the environment awareness to say the least? Hypocrisy at play here as plastic bottles don't match well with Conservation. Also the lady at the Zoo ticket booth at Ferrry terminal 4 on this Good Friday was not helpful and no smiles at all. We get better services from Coles Supermarket staff. Unlikely to return for next while. Not good values for $$ on this particular experience when taking the above into account plus the constant poor overcrowding management on peak days (eg : long queues just for getting onto the cable cars at the bottom gate, one could mistakenly though we are at the Movie World in GC).
