Scheduled an appointment three weeks ago for what I was told was a recall item (stuck gas door, apparently a common issue with Outbacks). They said they needed time to order the parts. I showed up today, parts not in. Which was good because they wanted to charge me over $500 to fix a stuck gas door. No thanks. Was told of two other recalls, and one was a simple computer flash. One was handled, the flash was not because The emergency parking brake reprogramming recall cannot be done at this time. Apparently your car's software is rejecting both of our computers. So my car is apparently just too stubborn to accept this update. That s cool, my widow will at least have proof in court if I die in a fiery crash. Thanks for nothing SoK, a waste of my afternoon and has me reconsidering my Subaru purchase.
