Jackie Fitzgerald Boyd Review of California Science Center
Great Place !
Great Place !
We had an extra day in LA and wanted to do something different than just another day at the parks. We got a recommendation to visit here and it was absolutely great. The Endeavor is probably the crown jewel and was amazing to see in person. Entry is free to the center and there are a lot of exhibits. I think a reservation time is $3 for the Endeavor but it is included if you see an IMAX film and we wanted to see the Apollo 11 film anyway. In any event, very short money for a well worth it trip. We paid $18 in total for the 2 of us. We also made a donation. Also, there are people all around the Endeavor and I wish I remembered his name, but the gentleman we spoke to had worked on the Endeavor and had an amazing background including engineering, airplane engines and other stories, including boating and the NFL. We learned more from him in 20 minutes about the shuttle than we ever had - and we've been to NASA! He was great. Search him out! Follow this with a trip to the Griffith Observatory for a full space day!
