I don't understand all these negative reviews!! My name WAS Deborah L. Smith and on Dec. 27th 1978 Dr Thomas Mosely delivered my beautiful son!! EVERYTHING, right down to the hospital food was FANTASTIC!! I was really frightened and an RN named Mary stayed past the end of her shift to comfort and support me. And then after I was transferred to room 220-Bed A, the head nurse named DOT was exceptionally nice to me and my son in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE!! ALL of SGMC's staff was wonderful. And sweet old Doc Mosely...he was so good about EVERYTHING!! He made absolutely sure that my pain was controlled so much so, that I actually slept on and off in the labor room, which was very much appreciated as I was in labor from 2:15 am until my boy, Jeremy got here at 3:39 pm, and it was a VERY LONG DAY!! I don't know what else to say except that now I am home in Mi. and have been having alot of medical problems that they do not seem to know what is going on, and I REALLY WISH I COULD COME BACK TO YOUR HOSPITAL! No Doubt, the staff there would figure out what is going on and finally give me some help! BTW my son, Jeremy is now 41 years old and married and doing very well, and I feel like it is mostly due to the fantastic care he was given at SGMC until our discharge on Dec. 31st 1978! Also, my thanks to his Pediatrician, Dr Johnson who was also on your staff. I am very grateful and would recommend this hospital to ANYONE!! Also, it was EXTREMELY CLEAN during our stay there. Thanks and God Bless all of you and the wonderful people who took care of us, even though I don't have alot of their names!! Keep up the good work, like always!!
