We have used Crystal Travel 4 times now for local European trips and also for 2 long haul overseas packages to USA and Asia in the past and we had wonderful experiences throughout those. BUT we have used them again now for another Asia trip and it was an absolute nightmare! I will never use Crystal Travel ever again in my life. I don t know if management has changed or what the situation is but they have definitely lost their credibility in my books. AVOID AT ALL COST! Don t let them tempt you with their cheap prices! As soon as they had my money, I had nothing but problems. I paid a lot of money for this flight and hotel package to 5 different Asian countries but the hotels I stayed in were disgusting and terrible. I experienced multiple issues throughout but the worst was: Upon my arrival at my hotel in Bangkok, the hotel was closed down, doors chained shut and pitch black. A local man told me it had closed down 8 months previously! Luckily, my taxi driver helped me and drove me to another nearby hotel. Any emails/ phone calls/ problems reported to Crystal Travel are ignored by them and they only respond AFTER you have already left that destination or hotel! Very SLY. Not once did I receive an apology or any compensation for any problems. Utterly shocked at the difference in customer service experienced from using Crystal Travel in the past to using them now. Please please please avoid this company!
