I don t usually take the time to write a review and I ve been fortunate to have been on quite a few adventures. This AP trip was one of our favorites! We have friends of friends in the Alaska travel industry and they highly recommended Ascending Path. So we decided to give them a try and to spend the night on the glacier. It was spectacular from start to finish. The train ride in was very scenic and the kayaking through the glacier filled lake was something out of a movie. Our guide was fun and full of interesting facts and we were well outfitted for the trip. The helicopter ride onto the glacier was like a trip unto itself. As we approached our camping spot, It felt like a completely different planet. We learned to ice climb, had an amazing king crab dinner and thoroughly enjoyed hiking the glacier. It was first class from start to finish! If you re looking at an Alaskan outdoor adventure, and not afraid to kayak, camp, hike and helicopter, definitely give Ascending Path a call.
