I wanted to give a 4 star for my experience, but I was sincerely disappointed.
I was given a "surprise party" for my birthday yesterday I liked the part of the restaurant a little away for the event and the number of people expected as well as the service at the beginning ...

We waited over 1 hour for our dishes, but in the meantime we received starters from the house for our patience.

I have a friend who showed up after we ordered and got his order before we did. Honestly, if I had known it was going to take this long, I would have ordered my 16 month old daughter's mashed potatoes express.

Finally our orders arrive I have to make my daughter eat before my steak cools. I take max 4 bites of my steak which is $ 39 on the menu and eat some fries while waiting for my daughter to be done. In the meantime other guests arrive I will greet them 10 minutes max in another room I must specify, because my sister-in-law got up at least 7 to 9 times with my nephew to go to the bathroom and she didn't had no consequence. I get up once and ... pouffff .... my dish is gone.
So I went to eat a steak at Baton Rouge, my plate was intact and now it was gone.
A homeless man would have thought it was a tailor-made dish. The dish was already paid of course and the waitress told me that someone told her to clear everything. I believe if this is true the person should have been talking about their specialty (ribs) for which we got 15% off the bill given that they missed it; extremely dry / inedible and burnt chickens.

My birthday cake did not come from the place, but we had not been able to eat the bottom floor so we ask for the box to bring the rest ... poof ... He had to join mom steak out of solidarity and / or compassion, for he too had been cast. Other restaurants keep it all until the guests patent. We had to cut everything up in order to put them in take-out boxes.

So I do not yet know the taste of Baton Rouge and the reason why the surprise was made there is because I wanted to taste it.
Since I am an undisputed fan of Keg PC and Laval (next door) I think it won't be hard to figure out my next restaurant choice.
