Slowing down the spread of disease is a great cause, the collateral damage to my neighborhood of Washington Heights is criminal. The sidewalks are littered with syringes, syringe caps and humans strung out on heroin. If the needle exchange is going to set up here and exchange needles why arent they also doing clean up for their wares that are littering the streets and sidewalks kids are playing on?

I also think its interesting they decided to set up on the eastside of Broadway and not the west. This just reinforces the Broadway divide that has been going on for decades.
