My favourite yarn shop and one that is well worth a visit. The shop is always well stocked with a wonderful collection of beautifully curated yarns and accessories from well known companies as well as indie dyers. I love that I m able to pick up sweater quantities of La Bien Aimee and other dyers yarn that I ve never been able to see in person before.

My main compliment though is how easy it is to shop there, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful the yarn is organised and it s so easy to not only find what you re looking for but complimentary colours too. If you re looking to learn how to knit or crochet too then there are free evenings where you can join Carmen s team and learn how to... there s no excuse it s so much fun!

The knit night every fortnight draws a really interesting group of people that I wouldn t otherwise have the chance to meet and after having a baby and moving to somewhere I didn t previously have a lot of friends I really look forward it.

Can t recommend A Yarn Story highly enough!
