We came to Now Larimar with our extended family a group of 12 of us. I will say this is our second time at the Now Larimar Punta Cana. The first time we went we raved about it. It was so nice, we wanted to go back again with the rest of the family. So planned a trip through APPLE with eeverything so everyone could go for a week and signed up for preferred ( which was extra) and boy was I disappointed and embarrassed.

Were do I start.. Some of the staff was very kind. Here are a few that stood out to our family. Ezequier , Heldin, Gabriel and Josue from Apple.

Here is what I didn't like. When I got there we went to the preferred area where you were able to sit and eat snack. It was pretty barren. They were all wiped out empty ( Mind you we went to both Preferred rooms and they were both empty) The only thing you could find were maybe a hand full of lunch meats. unlike our first time where the snacks were plenty. But I tried to over look that and think well when we get our self situated we will sit down and eat. We went to the beach area were we decided to eat at the bar area on the beach. I was welcomed with roaches. Yes I said it ROACHES. I nearly chocked. So I tried not to make a scene and I told the gentlemen that there was a roach. He proceeded to chase it down and kill it. And then up popped another. I was so grossed out not only did I lose my appetite I was mortified. I went to the Preferred area and told Andres and he shrugged his shoulders as if it wasn't a big deal. I was sure to get a photo of this guy ( see below).

Our room was nice. The air condition was good but if you want room service it took about 1.5 hrs to arrive and If you need your mini bar stocked it's not done daily as advertised for you. Instead you have to call to request it be stock. And if you thought you should only call once your mistaken it will take at least 2 calls a day for you to finally get water and soda in your fridge.

Next lets go to the shows. The first time we went was about 5 year ago. In 5 year the shows were exactly the same nothing has changed. The one thing that did change was how they celebrated ( July 4th) they celebrated it with music and extreme cursing along with the almost naked women dancing vulgarly on stage with Bras and thongs. I was mortified! The cursing was so much that the children had to leave. This is a family resort and not something a company would want to have there name reflect so poorly on.

Last, the restaurant food was horrible. The Habatchi which I so immensely loved when I was there 5 years ago. Was now a factor line. You came in and they wanted you out with in 30 min. They no longer put on an enjoyable show as they had in the past. This time they cooked for you and that was it. No asking for seconds and they rushed you out for there next clients.

All and all I wish we took our 19k somewhere else. We were all extremely disappointed.
