BEWARE JACK POWELL SERVICE. I took my ram truck in...

BEWARE JACK POWELL SERVICE. I took my ram truck in for an oil change and tire rotation as I have done for the past 11 years. After a couple weeks, the center cap of one of my alloy wheels flew off on the freeway. Thinking that I had hit a pothole that had loosened the cap, I bought a new one.
When I went to put the cap on I realized that the tech that had rotated the tires had installed an extra-long lug nut that kept the cap from seating properly. This was the reason the cap flew off.
I went back to jack Powell in Escondido and explained the circumstances to the service manager. I told him that since their shop was the only one that service my truck, I felt they owed me a new lug nut and center cap. The manager agreed and stated that since I had already purchased a center cap he was authorized to give me a$200 service credit to make up for my trouble.
He asked me to come to office so he would credit my account and sent my truck to a service bay. After he credited my account I went outside where I could see my truck. I saw one tech in the cab and another monkeying around under the hood. I thought this was strange since all they had to do was change a lug nut. In a minute one tech went back to what he was doing while the other fixed my truck and brought it to me. The next day I noticed the check engine light was on. Thinking of the two clowns under the hood of my truck in the shop, I pushed on all the sensor plugs on the engine, which I could see. The check engine light went off
Evidently I was supposed to go back to them so they could charge $200 or more to repair the check engine malfunction. All I can say if you take your vehicle to jack Powell. Watch your back!!!!!!!!!!!
