Blake Niemyjski Review of Little Switzerland Ski Hill

The staff was non responsive/helpful and you could really tell most of them didn't want to be there. They were pretty rude telling me which side to get on the lift in a snappy manner.. I've never been there before... No smiles, no one there to ask for help finding how to get to a run. The runs are very short (you can hit all of them multiple times in less than an hour). I watched a young kid get hit by a lift behind me because the attendant wasn't paying attention..
The two big cons to this hill and why it got so poor of a review is the design of the lift/runs. You have to really really plan out your runs / figure out where you want to go into advance because they make it really hard to go down the same run you just went on.. Also the lift offloading areas are very small and NOT snowboard friendly... The best run is the black on the north side of the hill (aka it should be a green) and it's at the top of the pull rope (and it's hard to get there because it doesn't take you all the way). Then it goes into the training area and it's really hard to get back to the rest of the lifts...
For these reasons I left after spending two hours on the hill. I'm not sure If I'd go back. I'm sure it's really nice spot for local skiers or boarders who like terrain parks who don't want to drive to Wausau WI, Michigan or Chestnut.
