Spa nice, food and service not so good. The spa day deal included a light lunch either a pulled pork wrap or jackfruit wrap. This needed pre ordering and we only received the menu the day before. My Sister rang to ask if there was any other options as she doesn t eat pork and does not like jackfruit. She was told that the other option would be to go to the local pub that serves food.

The lunch was served cold in a pack lunch type box that really needed dusting. One of our cheesecakes had lots of dust particles and hairs on from the box I assume. You could not order drinks unless it was with your meal only water fountains available around the spa. By the time we got our drink we had finished with our meal (not that we ate much of it). We asked for a second drink and waited another 25 minutes before leaving without the drink. You get tea and coffee included in the deal, no menus are available for you to see what other options are available.

The waiter is also the receptionist who clerks you in, she didn t really seem to have any idea either. We actually overheard her being asked by another customer if the wrap was pork as she does not eat this, the waiter/receptionist replied does it taste porky? it s hard to tell as the pork and jackfruit look the same I can assure you they do not. We had 3 pork and 1 jackfruit. They looked very different and tasted very different too. The papers stating what each box contained was wrong on our table and also clearly on theirs.

We ended up eating a Dorito and Mars bar lunch from the vending machine.

The spa itself is lovely but it s not likely that we ll return.
