We got our kitten there about 18 months ago. She came spayed, microchipped and up to date on shots. She was also only $50 which is basically nothing considering all they did for her medically and the food and care they gave her while she was there. I have also borrowed a trap to TNR a feral cat that lives in my backyard. The trap loan was free and they even gave me a voucher to cover the cost of the sterilization (which would have been around $200 without).

The people complaining on here need to realize that the people working here are volunteers, and doing the best they can. Be patient, be kind, and remember that you're there to save a life, not to judge customer service and parking. I love Best Friends and all they do for animals, keep up the amazing work. We CAN save them all :)
