Lakeland Community Theatre Review

LCT productions are always first rate. What a great venue for some fantastic talent. This place is a gem!

A showcase of Lakeland's ever-growing talent and charm. The LCT is famous around town for its innate ability to bring shows to life with talented musicians, actors, singers, and tech crew.

I've participating in only a couple of shows here, but it's always a great experience. I have also seen plenty of shows and they are always of pretty high quality.

Went to see Musical 9 to 5 yesterday. It was awesome!

Just saw Disney's Sleeping Beauty and it was excellent! The entire cast and production was fantastic.

If I could rate the show I went to as 0 stars I would. We went to see a rated G show and there was swearing and sexual innuendos. We left 10 minutes into the show because it was very uncomfortable for our group of 8. Very dissappointed as we had planned for months in advance to see this show. I think it is very dishonest and misleading to advertise a show as rated G on every pamphlet, poster, email, and advertisement and then it be this tacky and crude.

Really good community theatre. Saw Sweeny Todd, funny, good vocals, nice acting. Scenery cleverly composed. Kudos to all!

best community theatre, we drive over an hour and have season tickets for over 15 years because we love it so much!

This a great little theater that serves the community very well. Although it does need to be updated my opinion but it has a classic flare in it own way for many years. Like the scars of time that gives it's distinct character appeal. It has given the community some great shows for many years which I'm proud to say I was a part of some of those performances. So if you are in the area come check out a show...

The facility was clean, staff members were kind, but very disappointed with the inappropriate language in Shrek, a rated G performance... Repeated various times. We had children with us, and there were also many in the audience. I thought this was a family-friendly event and were hoping for a clean and fun new outing for us, but will not be returning.

Love LCT...supporting our local arts community is on the top of my list.

I always enjoy Lakeland Community productions. Ticket price is very reasonable.

This theatre has been a second home to me. They put out quality productions and they always leave me being affected in so way by the art they produce. I would highly recommend coming out to see shows, volunteering and auditioning for shows!!!

Amazing little gem in my beautiful community, exceptional performances worthy of a big stage by local talent, and awe inspiring sets that make you feel like your at a much larger venue.

Good theater experience. Saw Annie Oakley and place was full. We have been for many plays and never disappointed. Easy parking, small venue but comfortable. Located right on Lake Mirror so very pretty setting. Price is always reasonable.

Every production we've seen here has been really good from children's to adult. They have refreshments during intermission. The theater is small and cozy, with no bad viewing seats. Plenty of free parking options. Close(walking distance) to downtown restaurants. The only negative is the theater seats are old and hard wood, not excruciating, but a bit hard on our old bones!

Don't let this place die, because their productions are always amazing, pulling on the talent of Harrison and FSC.

So good. Great quality performances. Tickets are a little pricey but worth it to support our local community.

An amazing experience from the summer camps, to the comradery on and off stage. Ive participated and have watched countless performances here throughout the years and love to claim it as my home theatre!

We took our daughters to see a Fancy Nancy musical and we were treated to an excellent performance!

What an amazing time. From Suessical, to Madagascar... Shrek was the best. This theater put on the best entertainments from our community. What a gem, so close to home

This is a great community theatre. They put on professional level productions and I'm happy to have the venue in Lakeland.

Tommy by The Who was awesome! I am NOT a musical kind of guy, but this performance was creative, riveting, and intense. The performers knocked it out of the park and the orchestra was outstanding. The LCT gets a two thumbs up for this performance.

Lakeland Community Theatre is another one of the reasons I am proud to live in Lakeland. Such amazing talent! A wide variety of quality productions put on each season. The ticket cost is reasonable, making it possible to attend many productions each year. My ONLY gripe, with the venue, not the organization...PLEASE expand and improve the restroom facilities, they are inadequate for the crowds.

Great performance of Mary Poppins ... nice facility ... pleasant staff.

The Ms. Mary Poppins performance is good. Only the building is old. When the open the door, the light came in through the show.

This place is amazing I enjoyed seeing my niece's performance in Out Of The Box A Christmas Story

Went with family to see the performance of "Christmas story." Singing and most of story line was good; however,one could just imagine the shock when a child spoke a nasty word out during story line (and not just once). Wow....I thought rated "G" meant no off "sexual reference" or any bad language. If had known, would not have wasted money. Would not recommend because of inappropriate language and other references.

Community? The talent in EVERY LCT show is incredible, the facility is incredible, the set designs are incredible. You will quickly forget it's a community theater.

Great place to hang waiting for my peops to finish eating at the Texas Cattle Country restaurant - this restaurant is anti Veteran and anti ADA - I was denied service due to my disabilities - I hope the complaint I am filing with the Sate of Florida and Federal corrects your attitude

This is an amazing place. Very people. Had a great time can't wait to go back.

Nice little local theater with a well directed show, talented actors, and comfortable seats. Plenty of parking.

We saw Annie Get Your Guns. Great production, singing, sound system and comfortable seating. Quality actors better than what you typically find in local productions. Can't wait for the 2019-2020 schedule. We will be there.

The cast give their all, the sets are brilliant overall a great experience.

The stage may be small, but the actors have so much heart. The shows here are excellent. Take an evening and go support the arts! You won't be disappointed.

Christopher kizirian was absolutely wonderfully in the play

High quality productions, a great way to get involved if interested in theatre or even the technical side of theatre, lots of fun to contribute whether attending productions or being apart of them.

The performance of Mary Poppins was superb! I found 4 issues that can be rectified to enhance the attendees experience. The music was too loud in comparison to the voices. The auditorium lights mysteriously were turned on for about 5 minutes, very distracting. The concession is located between the two small entrances and creates a blockage for persons coming in, add that to the numbers using walkers/wheelchairs. But the most distraction was the constant opening doors of the entrance to the theatre, bright lights were thrown into the auditorium. The location of the theatre is lovely. And the seating are comfortable, planned out well so that there are no bad seats.

Love community theatre. They do a wonderful job. Saw Mary Poppins recently and it was great.

We had never been to a play here and frankly didn't know about them. The play and cast we're fantastic, it's comfortable and quaint and we will now be getting season passes.

Wonderful community theater. Just saw Matilda and loved it. Incredible cast.
