My wife and I stayed at Garden Hotel when visiting Guangzhou from Hong Kong in July 2016. We had a very pleasant stay as always, and I think it's our third or fourth time or so staying there. We got the breakfast when we checked in and staff then told us there was a promotion of around RMB 340 for two breakfasts and upgrade to a suite. Nice little surprise! Check-in and check-out was now quicker than before which was also appreciated. I would recommend Garden Hotel for weekend trips, and the location on Huanshi Dong Lu is also convenient for visiting different areas around GZ.
