The Humane Society is a great place to volunteer, meet new furry friends, and get acquainted with pet rules, regulations, information and etc. The only downside is that the building is located out of City Bus range, and therefore a car is needed to drive up to the building itself. (There is a sidewalk that goes underneath the 12 / 18 Beltline highway, but does not continue onto the street that's off of US 51.)
