As a student doing an MA in TESOL at SFSU, I will say that the program is internationally known for creating innovators in the field. The faculty are amazingly helpful and supportive. Academics aside, the campus is beautiful with all of the trees, art, and gardens and squares. The library is up to date and provides a variety of different settings to study for groups or for those who prefer quiet. They also have a good variety of food/drink services on campus from Vietnamese Pho and Banh Mi, to Mexican food, to Boba and even beer! which makes it easy to grab a good bite and get back to class in flash.
