UPDATE ADDED BELOW. Worst airport in the EU. Going through immigration was over an hour; under staffed. Slovakia also requires non-EU persons to get some visa clearance to travel to non-EU destinations; destinations to which I fly from Hungary, Poland, and Germany without the hassle. Plus Bratislava is over-priced. Just best to avoid Slovakia.

UPDATE (added a star). Apparently they have changed their policy on visa clearance for non-EU persons flying out of Schengen. I wasn't required to wait in the baggage line when I only had carry-on. BUT the airport doesn't have international transit lanes, so you have to go through immigration and then come back through again, which is something they need to think about as they get more non-Schengen flight connections.
