Emily Barnard Review of The Spa at Tween Waters Inn/Tw...

When we arrived at Tweenwaters, we're weren't expecting much and when we went to find our room, we were even less impressed. The man lead us to our "dorm" and said to take the elevator with our suitcases and then he left. The elevator was broken, and a passerby (another guest) said it had been broken for days. I'm a 100lb female and my grandparents are not able to carry much due to their health. When went to the front desk to inquire about the elevators, they claimed they had no idea they were broken, but said they could get us a single cabin for a "deal", $75 more per night (which is just the difference of what we were paying between the hotel room and the cabin). Not very impressive and left us hoping we would survive our stay there. Other than that, we really had no problems and ended up enjoying our stay and our cabin. The restaurants are good, but the service is slow and the waiters just disappear and then come back when it's time for the check. Management seems to be lacking, but overall we did have a good time here. Paddle board lessons were awesome and pretty cheap (they are not given BY Tweenwaters, but they are on site). A solid 3--4 stars.
