The grand old dame of hotels in Manila. Too bad that it has been left in the dust by newer hotel. Despire that, I think the Manila Hotel's lobby, despite being smaller than its competitors, still has the most character. When you are there, you know you are in Manila.

The bathrooms are huge! The rooms are satisfactory. The service is still quality There are a lot of small touches around the hotel that tell you of its storied past. I hope it can find a good investor to bring it back to its former glory, without sacrificing the history of this Philippine institution.
