This is a tale of 2 Silverwoods...

I'll start with the good. The waterpark is a lot of fun. There are a ton of slides to do and 2 different wave pools to have fun in. Throw in a lazy river and lots of places to park your gear and it is a great way to spend a day.

The amusement park on the other hand...

The amusement park is meh. The roller coasters only run 1 set of cars, so the wait time is elongated because of that. Plus, there is no way of knowing how long the wait will be once you get in line.

When I went (end of August) there were only 2 people tending to the rides and it usually took longer to do all the safety checks than you spent on the ride itself. There wasn't any direction when you got to the front of the line to keep things flowing. It was a free for all that some times slowed the line more than it should have.

If you drew a line with county fair on one end and Disneyland on the other this would be about a third of the way between the two. There is a lot of potential there but whether it was towards the end of the season or that's just how it is there it leaves a lot to be desired. The rides are fun once you get to them. But they aren't so much fun that they singlehandedly.

If you go. Go have fun at the waterpark and have low expectations for the amusement park.
