Review of Grand Hyatt Doha

2. a 50m2 balcony with just 2 chairs and a table is useless
3. A room with sea view does not exist as advertised. The sea is simply too far away and the building is only 5 floors high. You get Laguna and construction site view
4. Lots of noise from jetskis late afternoon...it is a nice show but the exhaust from the engines really stinks
5. After several complaints in the reviews, they still are not able to control the use of scooters. Kids are forbidden to use scooters but they allow adults to even drive on e-scooters.....simply because adults refuse to listen. So bad behaviour from guests is rewarded! It is very simply to take measures against that with small gates. I guess first someone ( a kid?) needs to get seriously hurt before they will take measures.
6. Lower parking deck they are spraying furniture with chemicals
without decent ventilation. This could damage your car and the health of their employees. Take care of the safety of your employees!!!!
7. Good breakfast, but is was freezing cold in the restaurant and it stinks a lot from the "live" cooking in the restaurant. Be prepared to change your clothes afterwards
8. Lobby is very noisy in the night and this can be heard in the room, could be solved with sound absorbing material.
9. Very good club lounge and kids are allowed.
10. AC... well so so.. it was very humid in the room and the AC hardly cools. Typical problem here in Doha but i expect more from an upper class hotel.
11. Nice clean pools for the kids, but no slides
12. Laguna mall opposite of the hotel.. to get your cheap cans of coke ;)
