Last weekend I booked a room with van der valk, I am a disabled person and we had indicated this in advance. Nevertheless, room on the 2nd floor. Down in the hall is a disabled toilet. This one was very dirty and also in use as a kind of cleaning / linen cupboard, which I found quite derogatory. Rude for the disabled. The door wouldn't lock either, and to make matters worse, a foreign-speaking employee decided to open the door with some sort of remote control. My husband yelled, don't, but he didn't understand this. The floor of the elevator was also very dirty, and after two days this was still on the floor. The service also left something to be desired, waiting a long time for coffee at breakfast, employees who did not know which table to order. All in all, a chaotic situation. We are not used to this from van der valk. I hope you will pick up on these issues and especially importantly relocating the disabled toilet. This really is not possible.
