Beautiful architecture, but the people weren't very friendly. For the duration of my tip most people seemed uninterested and withdrawn from life; trance like. The crowding was expected, but do manners have to go out the window.

All in all an interesting trip to see what all the fuss was about, wouldn't reccommend it to the wimpy traveler though. Travel here for the experience and not the people, if you travel here with any expectations of fun or positive interactions with fellow humans, you will not find that at Mecca.
