Have had Xmission for various things for almost 20 years now (including dial up in the early days) and most of the time the line to the house was provided by QWEST/CENTURYLINK. Xmission supported me many a time when the DSL line was down and I was told it was "not our fault" by by Xmission being able to bypass the normal customer "service" and go to the people who actually checked things. Even then I often saw the QWEST/CENTURYLINK trucks at the box working on it just before I got service back even though they claimed no issues. Now I have UTOPIA and Xmission and my service is much more stable. If we do have a rare issue then Xmission lets us know why there was an issue and what they are doing to try and prevent it in the future. I also like that when I have a mind blank, Xmission support helps me with my home network issues and helps me get back up. The value is good even though at a bit higher cost than some others because it just works, no excuses, no blame passing, and help is there when I have needed it.

The only lie I have caught Xmission in is that they say I have up to 250 meg service, I actually have 280 down and 275 up most of the time and have never tested below 250, which is better than the other services that say up to and then you only get at the most, about 80% of that speed.
