It was ok. I took my son and 2 friends for his birthday while the aquarium was doing a Halloween event. I was unaware of the "if kids are in costume, they get in free" or whatever deal they were having. In a wonderful, mildly hilarious act of kindness, the woman at the register made up costumes fitting the normal clothes they were wearing(lumberjack for the one in plaid and such). That is the only reason I'm not giving fewer stars. The staff were incredibly nice and the ones at the displays, despite the huge number of people touching and grabbing the fish, managed to keep their cool and kindly correct negative behavior.
That said, it was lackluster as a whole. Lots of boring brown fish from the lake right outside and more toys that had little to do with aquatic life. Not the worst but not somewhere I'd visit again if it weren't for birthday requests from my children.
