Why haven't we been here more often?

Why haven't we been here more often?

COVID has kept us closer to home this year and we are thrilled to have re-discovered some diamonds.

We came last weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The help on the phone working out a plan to enjoy a few nights at the hotel was professional and thorough. She took the time to ask questions about us before suggesting options for our stay.

The entire team was excellent from check-in until it was time to depart. The team at the pool were fantastic; the cocktails and menu made it unnecessary to give up our places in the warm sunshine to seek out nourishment.

The staff at the main restaurant are always on top of their game. Our visits this stay were no different. Chef Jason Bangerter has brought the best of Toronto dining to this beautiful country estate. There is no need to leave the Tri-Cities to experience the best in modern Canadian cuisine. Among our appetizers, we tasted the best scallop we've ever had. (The main and dessert didn't disappoint either.)

We brought our 5 year old son, and they were excellent with him. Our server at dinner, Esther, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate.

COVID has made it difficult for all sorts of businesses focused on hospitality. This visit was a reminder of just why we need to remember to support the passion and excellence we often overlook in our own back yards.
